Born and raised between Canada and the United States, I have always observed trends, patterns, colors, and cultures from an outsider's point of view.  A global citizen of the world living in several countries and unplanned travel and wanderings to new places and inspiration.   

My Master’s of Science in Textile Design is from Philadelphia University, where the focus was to design patterns that would still have the look of the hand designed with the advent of digital printing.  

I have Textile Arts Degree from Capilano College which developed my high color acuity, studying each shade of gray inspired by the Vancouver west coast misty atmosphere.  My Bachelor of Arts in painting is from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. 

For the last six months of 2024, I traveled full-time across Europe and North America, gathering inspiration and tracking trends at major Design Fairs and Trade Shows. This included staying in the world’s finest hotels, visiting hotel lobby and restaurants, and engaging with their design aesthetic and customer journey and experience.  

I’m currently available for consulting in both the US and Canada, and for 3-month projects in Europe.
